Q. Why doesn't PermaClear Pro'Dry'Clean waterless wash scratch the paintwork?A. When people hear about our waterless wash & wax system, their first reaction is that it will surely scratch the paintwork. In fact, our waterless wash system is actually safer than washing with a bucket & sponge.
PermaClear waterless wash actually helps protect your paintwork in a number of ways.
THIS MEANS THE CAR STAYS CLEANER FOR LONGER Q. Can I wash the vehicle when it is wet?Although it's no fun washing the car in the rain, there is no reason why you can't wash your vehicle when it is wet. The only problem is that the microfibre cloth will get wet quicker. If you do use PermaClear waterless wash & wax on a wet surface, you will instantly see how it repels water. Q. Do I need to use gloves? No - PermaClear waterless wash is not harmful to skin and it has a pleasing citrus fragrance. Q. Does it smell?Pro'Dry'Care has a mild citrus aroma and leaves the car smelling like it's just had a valet. Q. How can you guarantee that it won't scratch my paint? When our instructions are followed, PermaClear waterless wash will take dirt from 'everyday motoring' away from the surface so it can't scratch. Of course we would advise that you get rid of big lumps of mud if you've been rallying or off-roading, but that's just common sense. You should keep turning the micro-fibre cloths when cleaning, but if they're totally dirty then it makes sense to use a fresh one. Bentley and Lamborghini dealers use PermaClear waterless wash & wax, so if they have confidence in Pro'Dry'Care, you can be sure that we'll be protecting your pride & joy too. Have you considered what happens to all the dirt on the bodywork and wheels of your car? Although the sponge is wet, it still traps all the dirt on the surface of the sponge, ready to be scraped against unprotected paintwork. You then dunk the sponge into the water, which contains more dirt particles. Even though you may not be able to see them, these are what cause the swirl marks on the paintwork.
People that are fanatical about the look of their car will take steps to minimise the problem by pre-soaking the car, or even snow foaming. They may also use expensive wash mitts and expensive cleaning products as well as polishes, wax and/or sealants. Not only is this costly, but it takes a huge amount of time. Even with all this expense and time, they are only reducing the problem of swirl marks.
